Safety Administrator / Officer

Our client is a leading specialist in power systems integration within electrical-based projects located in Malaga. By way of business growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Safety Administrator / Officer to join their team on a full-time, contract basis.

The Role

This position will see you heavily involved in supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment functions within our clients organisation.

• Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of WHS policies and programs
• Advise and instruct on various site safety-related topics
• Conduct risk assessment and verify implementation of risk control measures
• Undertake workplace inspections and observations
• Investigate and record incidents, injuries and hazards
• Facilitate site inductions, toolbox meetings etc
• Ensure WHS records are maintained
• Provide support to other company worksites
• Requirements
• Proven experience as a safety officer
• In depth knowledge of legislation
• Experience in writing reports for health and safety
• Proficient in MS Office
• Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety (or similar)
• Cert IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
• First aid (desirable)
• TapRooT or ICAM (desirable)

Location : Malaga, WA

Rate of Pay : negotiable depending on experience

Roster : Monday - Friday 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm - full time hours
