About the roleAs a Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives, ensuring they receive the care and support they need. Your responsibilities will include :
- Providing personal care, including hygiene and mobility assistance
- Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation and household tasks
- Supporting clients in community participation and social engagements
- Implementing individual support plans tailored to each participant's needs
- Promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients
- Documenting care and maintaining accurate records
- What We're Looking For
- A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience in disability or aged care (preferred)
- A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
