- Duties
A varied role, this position will see you reporting in to the Managing Director and focused on purely the accounting side of things rather than miscellaneous administration tasks. Duties will include :
- Calculating and verifying opening & closing balances on take overs and lost plans
- Management of loan facilities of owners corporations (ie principal and interest allocation)
- Management of accounting timetable ie levy run, monthly financial checking / rectification, overseeing issuance of S184 certificates within time required
- End of month transfer of management fees and charges
- Handling the GST clearing account and all GST related issues
- Management of expense allocation within multi-tiered budgets for BMC schemes and large strata schemes
- Reconciliation of key bonds / deposits
- Preparing financial accounts for submission to auditors and dealing with auditors' queries
- Specific requirements
- Ideally you will be coming from a Strata accounts background, however strong accounts experience in any industry will be considered
- Able to operate autonomously and well organised
- An interest in Strata or property will be highly regarded
- Live within an easy commute of Parramatta
