Job description

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to design, modify, and optimize gauge steel structures according to client needs and project specifications.

Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vertex BD) to review structural calculations and modeling, provide technical guidance for construction, and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Test and evaluate construction materials to ensure they meet design and safety requirements, and oversee their effective use in production and on-site.

Estimate material and labour costs, ensuring project budgets align with specifications and contract terms.

Direct the installation of steel structures on-site, ensuring compliance with design drawings, construction specifications, and safety standards while addressing technical issues that arise.

Maintain communication with clients, production managers, and teams, coordinating construction progress and technical requirements to ensure smooth project completion.

Gather and examine construction data, perform calculations, and prepare cost estimates to guarantee the project meets all specifications and budget constraints.

Organize and oversee civil engineering tasks in client projects to ensure the smooth progress of subsequent steel structure installations.

Participate in the selection and testing of construction materials and connectors, ensuring strength and durability align with project requirements.
