Robert Half are working with a local team looking for their next Systems Administrator, a role where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services across the organisation. Additionally, you'll provide mentorship and training to peers, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support : Act as the Level 2 / 3 escalation point for the IT service desk, efficiently resolving complex IT infrastructure issues.
- Infrastructure Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance, administration, and upgrades of IT infrastructure hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
- Vendor Liaison : Collaborate with ICT vendors and colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve core infrastructure-related issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for IT infrastructure enhancements and work with the IT Operations Team Leader to plan and prioritise projects and tasks.
- Security Compliance : Assist the Cyber Security Analyst in ensuring all software and hardware configurations align with industry best practices and security frameworks.
- Project Participation : Contribute to IT projects and undertake additional duties as directed to support organisational objectives.
