Do you want to be part of a dynamic team where you will get experience providing Security Assessment, Architecture and Advisory on multiple technologies?
You’ll play a pivotal role in providing Security Architecture, Design and Advisory ensuring pragmatic alignment between Security best practices, organisational risk appetite and The Technology Strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Develop and implement robust security architecture and designs, spanning multiple domains
- Effectively communicate security advisory to diverse stakeholders, including Heads of Technology, Technology Leads, Engineers, and Designers
- Conduct thorough security control assessments to validate control effectiveness, implementation, and alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Perform threat modelling and risk assessments to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of architecture artifacts, including Security Architecture Blueprints, Patterns, Architecture Models, and Security Standards and Policies
- Support and champion governance of technology decisions, with a focus on security considerations
- Collaborate with the broader Insignia architecture community to support and enhance architecture practices and processes
- Demonstrated expertise in providing security architecture and advisory services for both on-premises and cloud-hosted environments and solutions
- Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is ideal
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, adeptly navigating both business and technical challenges to achieve successful but pragmatic security outcomes
- Experience within the financial services or wealth management sector, is highly desirable demonstrating understanding of industry-specific security requirements and challenges
- Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and driving alignment on security initiatives
- Deep understanding of security technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, ensuring informed decision-making
- Possession of industry-recognized security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, SANS GIAC, SANS GCSE, ISACA CSXP, or similar is ideal
- Proficient with architecture frameworks and practices, leveraging them to develop and implement Security Architecture and Designs
