UnitingAustralia38 - $42.90 / hour (Depending on qualification) + Coordinator's allowance + Super + Salary PackagingLocated at Brookvale Public SchoolThis is a full-time contract until January 2025.About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to put their own personal stamp on running this service!We are currently seeking a Coordinator to join our team at Uniting Engadine OSHC on a full-time permanent basis.The Uniting Engadine OSHC operates Before and After School Care and Vacation Care.As a specialist in Outside of School Hours Care and having a strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and “My Time Our Place” framework, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff.What you’ll be doing in this roleYour work may include : Developing positive relationships that support children, their families, and the community.Providing consistent and visible leadership in WH&S behaviours and actions within the team.Contributing to the development and evaluation and improvements to the service.Commitment to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment that is inclusive of all staff.Who we’re looking forCertificate III or Diploma in Children Services and / or OSHC Services.Excellent knowledge of the NQS and My Time Our Place Framework.Previous OSHC leadership experience as a Coordinator.Approved child protection clearance.Demonstrates an understanding of governance principles and able to model best practice.Able to establish, foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with families and our local communities.Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice.Effective written and verbal communication skills.About Uniting Early LearningWhen you’re part of Uniting NSW.ACT, you’re part of a diverse, purpose-led team of people who are really making a difference to the world around them.We contribute to the work and mission of the Uniting Church in NSW and the ACT through social justice advocacy, community services and spiritual care.
