About the Role
My client is seeking a BI Developer to design, build and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn data into timely, actionable insights. You will work with stakeholders across the organisation to develop dashboards, reports and data products that support decision-making and improve performance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.
Build and optimise data models and semantic layers for reporting.
Develop ETL/ELT processes to transform and load data into BI platforms.
Ensure data quality, consistency and performance of reporting solutions.
Collaborate with analysts, data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver insights.
Document BI solutions, data definitions and reporting processes.
Provide end-user training and ongoing support for BI tools.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a BI Developer, Report Developer or similar role.
Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
Solid SQL skills and experience building data models for reporting.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and columnar storage design.
Understanding of data governance, data quality and security best practices.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
