• The Role

In this role as a Pricing Assistant, you will be responsible for :

Managing all Australian and New Zealand customer contract pricing within the Baxter Pricing systems - BAM and JDE (ERP System). Ensuring adherence to Baxter's audit and compliance processes during the set up and maintenance of pricing across all contract types.

Assisting the Sales Teams and Healthcare Solutions Team with all current pricing in the system, as well as reviewing and advising on proposed future price changes and updates for both products and customers.

Ensuring the data integrity of all customer pricing in the system, by continually investigating all pricing discrepancies raised by Customer Service, Sales Teams, Contracts Team, Wholesalers, Hospitals, and customers.

• Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• Maintaining the price maintenance master data files in Excel and ensuring that changes and updates to Sales Teams are correctly and accurately undated in the master data file.
• Liaise with Sales Managers and Teams to ensure that the pricing data is actioned in a timely manner and that customers notifications from the Sales Teams are filed and stored correctly for compliance
• Communicate all price updates and changes to all relevant Sales Teams in a timely manner
• Liaise with the Contract Team to ensure that all price updates and maintenance for Tenders are correctly notified and updated in the systems.
• Investigate, validate, and respond promptly to all pricing discrepancies, queries and differences between prices stated on a customers' purchase order (PO) and the corresponding prices in the system for that individual customer.
• Respond promptly to pricing queries from the various Sales Teams, Customers, and wholesalers to ensure that the Sales Teams and customers have the correct pricing that they require and that all pricing queries are resolved as soon as possible.
• Key Requirements of the role include

• Proven administrative experience in office environment, preferably in a pricing or similar customer service, indirect customer facing role.
• Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced, transactional based environment
• Problem solving, solution and customer focused and follow through on all queries
• Critical thinking with the ability to seek solutions and implement pricing requests to ensure that all customers are charged the correct prices
• Understanding of the pricing mechanism and its impact on the organization
• Proven strength in collaborating with various stakeholders across all business units and locations
• Independent and self-starter
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
