Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced URF T&I Delivery Manager to join the Barossa project team in Perth, WA. This role is accountable for the engineering, procurement, manufacture, transportation, installation, hook-up, and pre-commissioning of the Barossa URF facilities, inclusive of T&I of the FPSO STP buoy & moorings system, and T&I of the subsea manifolds and associated Subsea Production System infrastructure.
- Core Accountabilities
- Safe execution, within the approved quality, schedule, and budget of the SURF scope including detailed engineering, construction, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, and handover to Operations.
- Cultivate a strong HSE culture and provide HSE leadership to support successful project outcomes.
- Management of interfaces and integration with teams leading delivery of the other Barossa facilities and approvals including systems design, FPSO, HSE, SPS, GEP, D&C and Subsurface.
- Contract management through execute phase for the SURF contracts (T&I, Risers, Umbilicals), working closely with Contracts & Procurement team.
- Preparation, support, and participation in sponsor level contract management responsibilities.
- Manage and approve contractor progress, variations, and authorization-for-payment (invoicing) in collaboration with project controls team.
- Engage commonwealth regulators in support of safety and environmental approvals.
- Manage internal / external stakeholders in support of project objectives.
- Promote and lead a robust risk management process to mitigate adverse project impacts.
- Support and drive the management of change process through the project lifecycle.
- Actively support cost and schedule management in line with Company and project requirements
- Proactively and safely manage any changes / impacts to the offshore program(s), with a view to quality, schedule, and cost impacts.
- Support the Quality function ensuring implementation of the quality program across packages
- Support the HSE function with the development of environmental plans, safety cases, and associated approvals and licenses.
- This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.
- Location for this assignment is Perth - WA, working full-time office hours with some requirement for travel.
- About You
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering / Science or related oil and gas fields
- Extensive experience with oil and gas projects and over ten years in a lead role managing subsea and pipeline facilities design, manufacture and delivery and offshore execution
- Extensive contractor management experience with strong commercial / contractual acumen
- Experience in management and supervision, including development and implementation of SURF plans and programs both onshore and offshore
- Experience of working in Australia and knowledge of the offshore regulatory regime.
- Adaptability to change and able to deal with conflicting priorities in both an office and offshore environment.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical individuals using verbal and written mediums in a schedule driven environment
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and contribute proactively in team environments
- Analytical / technical aptitude with a practical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work effectively and positively while dealing with uncertainty and conflicting priorities
- Ability to travel to various contractor and supplier sites, both domestically and internationally, as required
