HSEQ Advisor - Fit Out & Refurbishment

Randstad Recruitment has partnered with a Specialist Commercial Construction Group working within the Fit-Out & Refurbishment Sector, who are currently seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis working across Education, Health, Community, Heritage, Hospitality, and Commerical scopes.

In this role, reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be play a crucial role in the monitoring of WHS compliance and High Risk activities being performed across multiple sites in Brisbane. This role will operate in a roaming capacity, completing works in office, and across ongoing sites.

Duties :

• Complete regular on-site inspections and auditing to ensure safe working procedures
• Complete on site inductions and onboarding of employees and contractors
• Monitor High Risk works being undertaken
• Travel throughout the Brisbane region as required to support current and future projects
• Investigate WHS incidents, complete documentation for reporting, and implement appropriate actions to ensure non-recurrence
• Promote and Champion a positive Safety Culture across site teams and the wider business
• Work across 1-Breadcrumb and Procore systems to maintain WHS documentation
• Provide training and development guidance to on-site teams
• Provide industry expert advice on WHS objectives and strategies to project teams
