Administration Officer – Support at Home

Position : Administration Officer – Support at Home

Location : Across NCN Health

EFT / Hours : 0.2 EFT (16 Hours per Fortnight)

Status : Fixed Term Part Time (until May 2026)

Hourly Rate : $33.7895 - $37.3542 per hour plus 12% superannuation

About The Role

NCN Health is seeking an Administration Officer – Support at Home to join our Primary and Community Services. The role provides comprehensive administrative support functions within the Support at Home program, with a focus to ensure that all program‑specific administrative, service request and referral processing, data compliance and financial requirements of the program are met in an efficient and timely manner. It supports the day‑to‑day functions of Care Partners, clinicians and management staff, contributes to the operational efficiency of the program and serves as a welcoming, professional and respectful point of contact for participants, families and external stakeholders. Under the direction of the Manager Community Aged Care and Disability, the officer is also responsible for coordinating, collating, preparing and reporting data, and the financial and performance information to meet internal and external reporting requirements. The officer contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, assists with audit and reporting processes, and supports the implementation of systems and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Support at Home program.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Certificate III in Office Administration or equivalent or previous experience working in a similar administrative role.
  • Experience working in a busy administration environment with the ability to self‑manage and organise demanding and changing workloads and competing priorities.
  • Proven experience in maintaining financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare statistical reports, meeting minutes and agendas and other documentation, and check accuracy of department documentation and data with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher) to prepare a range of high‑quality statistical data and financial reports.
  • Proven ability to review and interpret data with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills including demonstrated ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds.
