ROLE EXPECTATIONS :
This is a key leadership role responsible for improving customer service operations while driving sales through smarter administration and proactive client engagement. Your responsibilities will include :
Managing and mentoring a team of three customer service and sales support staffImproving processes across sales admin and customer engagementTaking a hands-on approach to major accounts and ensuring customer needs are metWorking closely with architects, designers, and builders to provide tailored solutionsNegotiating pricing, terms, and timelines with key stakeholdersDriving account performance and ensuring clients are consistently followed upProviding product support and helping clients with specifications and quotesCollaborating with sales leadership and contributing to overall business growthCANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS :
We’re looking for a proactive, experienced professional with a background in sales administration or customer service within the tiles or building materials sector :
To be successful in this role, you’ll need :
A strong track record in sales support, account management, or customer serviceExperience working with or supporting architects, designers, and buildersDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a small teamA proactive approach — you don’t wait for problems, you solve them before they ariseStrong negotiation skills and commercial awarenessExperience managing internal systems, quotes, and client follow-upsExcellent organisational, time management, and communication skillsPrevious experience in the tiling industry (or related building products) is highly regardedTHE COMPANY
