Salt has partnered with an Australian owned and operated Technology company, providing a wide range of Telco, Digital Marketing, and IT services to small and medium enterprises nation wide. Their suit of products enable their customers to modernise operations through reliable communication and IT solutions. The organisation has been recognised in several growth and business awards from Forbes magazine, and the Australian Financial Review. They’re now upscaling their sales teams across VIC, NSW, and QLD.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the growing national sales team. You’ll be responsible for driving new business growth in your local state — whether that’s Victoria, New South Wales, or Queensland — representing a suite of innovative technology solutions including phone systems, cyber security, AI tools, and Metaweb digital marketing services.

This role is perfect for a natural hunter who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing deals. If you’re confident in B2B sales and motivated by uncapped earning potential, this is your chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full B2B sales process — from lead generation and prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Conduct outbound activities, primarily face-to-face meetings.
  • Meet directly with business owners, CEOs, and senior executives to uncover needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of SMB clients within your state.
  • Present and sell our core offerings : phone systems, cyber security, AI, and marketing solutions.
  • Close deals confidently — with the majority of sales concluded in the first meeting.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Leverage a dedicated monthly marketing budget to support your outreach and lead generation.
  • Attend a weekly sales meeting (Monday mornings) while managing your own schedule throughout the week.

What’s on Offer

  • Uncapped commission – typical earnings range from $15,000 to $40,000+ per quarter.
  • $5,000 minimum car and fuel allowance.
  • Full flexibility — with only one day per week required in the office.
  • You’ll be supported to be set up for success with a structured and hands-on onboarding and training.
  • About You

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within technology, telecommunications, SaaS, or a similar field.
  • Skilled communicator who’s confident engaging with C-suite and senior business leaders.
  • Experienced in outbound sales, including cold calling, face-to-face sales, and door knocking.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Able to work independently while managing a local territory.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
