Education Assistant – Senior School

We are currently seeking relief Education Assistants to support our teachers and students in the Senior School.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Coordinator of Learning Diversity, Heads of Schools and teachers, and independently and collaboratively with other education assistants and educational paraprofessionals to support students’ learning.
• Implement intervention and learning programmes for individuals or small groups to improve literacy, numeracy, and general capabilities.
• Provide targeted support to individuals with diagnosed learning difficulties and disabilities within a positive framework to assist them in achieving their potential.
• Support all students under the direction of subject and class teachers within a classroom or small group setting.
• Adopt a flexible approach to the role and the ability to multi‑task and problem‑solve.
• Foster a child‑safe environment and culture where inclusivity and diversity are respected and embraced to ensure every child achieves their hopes and dreams.
• Effectively use assistive and other technologies to support student learning.
• Develop independence in students as they progress through the various stages of schooling.
• Use sound written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with students, staff, and families.
• Be an excellent role model and mentor for students across the College.
• Actively contribute to the broader College community and engage in our co‑curricular programme.
• Support our values and work to help us achieve our mission and vision.
