VIDA Roads (formerly Major Road Projects Victoria) is delivering a massive investment in the state's roads. We're delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city - providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by :

Provide active leadership, direction, and management of a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team, including resource allocation, performance coaching, and professional development.

Advocate on behalf of communities and stakeholders to avoid and minimise project impacts to the greatest extent possible and limit reputational and stakeholder risk.

Identify key reputational and stakeholder risks for projects, developing strategies to control, minimise and manage reputational risk.

Work with project teams and contractors to manage and quickly resolve issues that have the potential to affect the reputation of the project, VIDA and the Victorian Government.

Manage construction partners' performance to ensure communications and engagement activities are delivered to VIDA Roads' requirements, and in alignment with contract specifications and the project's Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Management Plan and sub-plans.

Lead the development of multi-channel proactive communication strategies, working with construction partners and project teams to identify project milestones, achievements, and innovations to promote projects, their benefits and progress.

The role is responsible for developing collaborative working relationships with construction partners, focused on delivering excellent project outcomes for the community and stakeholders in an issues-rich and complex environment, and in line with contractual requirements.

This opportunity is an up to 3 years fixed-term.

It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
