Who we are
The Property Services Branch is responsible for enhancing the department’s business capability through the effective management of the department’s property portfolio, property enabling functions, emergency management, as well as a range of corporate site services and commercial contracts nationally.
The Assistant Director of Property Services – Post Entry Quarantine (PEQ) is responsible for managing the delivery of critical preventative and reactive maintenance activities and capital works at the department’s Post Entry Quarantine site at Mickleham, Victoria. The facility is a key asset for the department and facilitates the post-arrival quarantine of high-risk imports such as horses, avian, plants, cats and dogs. The role requires significant engagement and collaboration with stakeholders, including staff, the landlord, and industry. The preferred candidate will have experience in property and facilities management, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

EL 1 - $124,861 - $134,295 per annum plus superannuation

Please note that the merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the branch where the duties are of a similar nature.
