About the Role

Public Sector People are proud to partner with Georges River Council to recruit a highly capable Coordinator Development Assessment. This leadership role involves driving planning outcomes and supporting sustainable development across a growing Local Government Area (LGA).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate development assessment operations for timely and effective planning decisions
• Mentor and support staff across assessment functions
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and planning instruments
• Represent the Council in Land & Environment Court matters
• Implement continuous improvement and customer service excellence
• Liaise with stakeholders including planning panels, solicitors, and the community
• Deliver complex and high-profile assessments and reports
