Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation. They work tirelessly to ensure that all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
Since their inception in 1998, they have built a strong and resilient network of over 250,000 individuals who have received their support. Alongside this network, BCNA work with the broader cohort of health professionals, government, healthcare providers and partners to influence and create a stronger healthcare system.

As PR & Communications Manager , you’ll be at the heart of BCNA’s public voice – leading PR, media, and storytelling strategy to build awareness, deepen connection, and inspire action. Reporting to the Director – Brand, Income and Engagement, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing BCNA’s mission, reach and influence.
As the architect of BCNA’s public-facing communications, you’ll provide trusted counsel to the CEO, Board and Executive Team while driving proactive PR campaigns and earned media. You’ll lead on issues and crisis communications, strengthen relationships with high-profile supporters, ambassadors and influencers, and stay plugged into the national conversation to ensure BCNA’s voice is timely, relevant and influential.
You’ll also oversee the development of compelling, values‑led content, from press releases and op‑eds to campaign narratives and executive speeches, ensuring BCNA’s voice remains consistent, human, and purpose‑driven across every channel.
