This includes all capital planning, business cases, construction and maintenance programs, whilst managing these through government processes for Queensland Health in partnership with HHSs.The Division is client focused and tailors its support to the individual needs of our HHS partners.
The roleReporting to the Senior Director, Technical Assurance, you will lead a small team and hold responsibility for leading and managing the activities of the program within the Health Capital Division.The Health Capital Division provides capital budget management, reporting and analysis across the Queensland Health infrastructure program and this role will perform a key function in delivering this service.You will also have the responsibility for managing, liaising and engaging with contractors, consultants and agencies, including professional / technical consultants on issues associated with asset services and designated program areas including project scoping and definition.
The successful personTo be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated leadership experience across complex teams and programs of work.You will have a proven ability to analyse complex and multi-faceted situations and to problem solve in an accurate and timely manner.You will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to quickly build and maintain effective working relationships, strong analysis and report writing skills, and high-level capability in implementing policy and governance structures. Proven experience managing stakeholders with both the private and public sector in which competing priorities exist will be crucial to your success.You will value being collegial and courageous.
