Metal Fabricator

We are an established and specialized trade contractor in the field of metalwork engineering, particularly in the fabrication and installation of balustrades, handrails, swimming pool fences, bollards, fencing, and gates for residential and general public customers and commercial clients ranging from small or large builders and developers. • Job Summary

This person will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process for metal balustrades and handrails - Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Mild Steel. _

• Brass is also a bonus.
• Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform general fabrication such as material cutting, grinding, drilling, welding, etc.
• Perform general duties around the workshop including preparing metal components and cutting using band-saws / drop saws.
• Read cutting lists.
• Work with traditional machinery.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings. (Material picking & marking and cutting).
• Skills & Experience required
• Experience working with balustrades, handrails or other metal works (First-class welder / installer of metal works / fabricator)
• At least 3 years of TIG welding experience is required.
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic person.
• Skilled & safe use of power tools & Factory machinery.

7 : 00 am - 3 : 00pm

• 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm.

Monday-Friday

Pay : $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay :

• Overtime pay

• Bankstown, NSW 2200 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
