About the role

Sydney Airport is Australia’s busiest and most connected airport, and we’re on a mission to deliver a world‑class experience for every passenger. As part of our Group Operations team—the largest at SYD—you’ll play a key role in ensuring our commercial platforms run smoothly and support the airport’s strategic goals of service, efficiency, and innovation.

This is a dynamic, hands‑on role where you’ll provide application and systems support across a range of commercial technologies—from car‑park billing systems to digital signage and online booking platforms. You’ll be a trusted partner to internal teams and external vendors, helping to drive operational excellence and continual improvement across the airport ecosystem.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

• Support a suite of operational applications including car‑park systems, ground transport platforms, and digital commercial tools.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert to investigate and resolve system issues, ensuring platform resilience and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to deliver quality outcomes and cost efficiencies.
• Capture and document business requirements to drive innovation and enhance passenger experience.
• Assist with vendor management, including reviewing statements of work and ensuring service levels are met.
• Participate in on‑call support as part of a rostered system for emergency and maintenance needs.
