About the role

The Senior Manager - Systems, Process Innovation and Workforce Experience is a strategic and hands on leadership role responsible for transforming the way our workforce interacts with People and Culture (P&C) through the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of systems and processes. We use Dayforce as our Human Resource Information System. The role is central to delivering seamless, intuitive, and workforce-centric experiences across the lifecycle by leading complex technology projects, managing system operations, and driving process innovation.

The role will lead end-to-end delivery of P&C technology initiatives from discovery, design through to implementation and post-launch support, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and user needs. The role will also oversee the day-to-day operations of P&C systems, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and user satisfaction.

A key focus of the role is to embed a culture of continuous improvement and human-centred design, ensuring that every system and process is built with the workforce experience at its core. This includes reimagining workflows, automating manual tasks, and enabling self-service capabilities that empower our workforce. Working closely with stakeholders across People and Culture, Technology, Finance, and external vendors, this role is responsible for co-creating solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic direction.

About you

As a seasoned Project Manager, you will have strong business analysis ability and bring deep expertise in managing HCM cloud-based systems including aligning functional / business processes with workforce experience. You will also demonstrate a contemporary understanding of excellence in practice.

Success in this role requires the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups, manage competing priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes that enhance both operational efficiency and workforce engagement.

Key behavioural and technical capabilities

  • Proven and demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups to drive alignment.
  • Scope to influence the operational activities of the organisation and would require our workforce to be involved with establishing operational procedures which impact upon the organisation and / or the sections of the business served by it.
  • Strong end to end project management and delivery skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Evidence of leading process re‑design, simplification or automation using frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma or Service Design. Preferably with Dayforce.
  • Ability to operate under limited direction and exercise managerial responsibility to work with teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment.
  • Deep understanding of P&C systems and processes. Preferably with Dayforce.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills is required to resolve organisational issues, negotiate contracts, develop and motivate staff.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and can articulate based on P&C, technical and end user perspective. Preferably with Dayforce.
  • Capable of developing a culture of accountability, growth and customer focus within the team.
  • Sound understanding of Human Centered Design approach and ability to undertake process design to create seamless, workforce‑first experiences. Preferably with Dayforce.
