About the role
The Outreach & Education Manager will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of our community education and outreach programs. This role provides both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring our programs are effective, inclusive, and aligned with our mission to reduce shelter intake and improve animal welfare outcomes.
You will manage a small team and directly deliver training initiatives for staff, volunteers, councils, and the community. The role also drives growth in revenue‑generating education services, develops strong partnerships with councils and community organisations, and ensures all programs are sustainable, impactful, and measurable

With strong leadership skills and a commitment to evidence‑based, ethical animal welfare practice, you bring the ability to engage effectively with councils, staff, and community groups.
