Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Designing quantitative research methodologies such as survey design
- Analysing and interpreting quantitative data using tools like SPSS, Q, R, and Excel
- Producing and analysing charts and descriptive statistics
- Organising and conducting research fieldwork, including quantitative surveys
- Project management and coordination
- Problem solving, drawing insights from findings, and report writing
- Collaborating across research disciplines and participating in graduate projects with peers
About You
The company is looking for candidates with :
Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident statusGraduate or postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields with data applications (e.g., Psychological Sciences, Statistics, Business, Commerce, Actuarial Studies, Marketing)Strong academic record (HD average or WAM over 80)Knowledge of research methodologies and experience with Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelExperience with statistical software such as SPSS and QUnderstanding of descriptive and inferential statistics including regression and factor analysisExperience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) is desirableStrong professional skills including attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and organisationEffective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environmentCapability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive and professional attitudeMotivation for continual learning, intellectual rigour, and interest in public sector research and consultingCompensation & Benefits
