About us : The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.

About your opportunity :

In this position you will :

• Provide independent high level specialist clinical services of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to Cairns Hospital Surgical Services for both inpatients and outpatients.
• Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers, as required to ensure continuum of care.
• Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
