Administrative Officer - Placements
Chisholm Institute – Placement Hub team – Part-time 0.6 FTE until 26 December 2025.
Salary : $61,677.00 p.a. plus superannuation pro‑rata for part‑time.
Location : Chisholm Campuses in South East Victoria.
About the role
The Administrative Officer – Placement provides administrative and operational support to the Placement Hub team, ensuring all students meet compliance requirements prior to starting placement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑level administration and placement process support to students, hosts and the teaching department.
- Support completion of Purchase Orders and invoicing accurately and timely.
- Respond to student queries, ensuring concise and supportive outcomes.
- Manage compliance items such as pre‑placement requirements and data reporting.
- Use systems and processes : Outlook, Strata, Teams, Placeright, InPlace and others where required.
- Adhere to policies, procedures and strategies in the Placement Hub in line with the Institute’s strategic directions.
- Work effectively as part of the Placement Hub team to contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives identified in the teaching department strategic directions.
- Assist in maintaining a centralised electronic filing system for records (InPlace, SharePoint, Strata).
About you
Certificate III in Business or Business Administration or a suitable combination of qualifications and relevant experience.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage conflict.Effective self‑management skills, prioritising, problem‑solving, meeting deadlines and following through on student queries.Strong action orientation and results focus.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.Ability to present to students in a clear and engaging manner.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.What we offer
