Overview

Swan Christian College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Education Assistants to join our team in January 2026 . Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Positions include :

Learning Enrichment Education Assistants (Full-time and Part-Time, Years 3-6) :

Support student progress through targeted literacy and numeracy intervention, working with individuals and small groups.

Early Years Education Assistant (0.6 FTE, Kindergarten) :

Assist in a 3-day Kindergarten classroom, helping foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

These roles are ideal for experienced and qualified Education Assistants passionate about making a difference in students’ learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities : Early Years Classroom Assistant

• Understand the biblical foundation of Christian Education and the College’s values within the Swan Christian Education Association context.
• Support students and assist teachers in classroom activities and daily operations.
• Help teach and supervise small groups under teacher direction.
• Work sensitively and effectively with students of varying abilities.
• Actively participate in all aspects of College life—spiritual, academic, sporting, cultural, and social.
• Adhere to all College policies and procedures.
