We’re seeking experienced Data Centre Technicians to work on critical projects at our facility. As an Oracle Data Centre Technician you will act as the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You will troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues, create and maintain documentation, innovate and make decisions independently, and improve current processes with automation.
Responsibilities
- Review and action incoming and open tickets, prioritizing work based on ticket severity.
- Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all production server hardware and software.
- Provide escalated second‑level technical support for complex issues, including leading problem‑management cases and providing management updates.
- Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
- Maintain strong adherence to processes and act as a process champion.
- Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
- Work on a rotating shift basis, including on‑call.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment.Background in Linux.Knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).Applicants must be an Australian citizen and either hold NV1 clearance or be eligible to undergo the vetting process.If this is the challenge you are looking for and you meet the above requirements, we want to talk to you.
