We are seeking an inspiring and visionary Head of Department - English / Humanities to join our dynamic school community. The successful candidate will lead a talented team of teachers, driving excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum development across English and Humanities.
This is a temporary part-time position (0.5 FTE or 25 hours per fortnight) commencing 22 January 2026 for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of a thriving department and make a lasting impact on our learners educational journey.

About The Role
In this position you will be managing a small team to ensure the delivery of English and humanities curriculums to a year 7 cohort.
You will also be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of these teachers.
