About the role
- Support IBD Patient Care – Manage patient information, book and discharge clinic appointments, arrange interpreters, and assist patients with telehealth access.
- Coordinate Clinic Operations – Oversee scheduling for gastroenterologists, nurses, dietitians and pharmacists, ensure billing eligibility, and maintain compliance with privacy and revenue procedures.
- Be the First Point of Contact – Handle reception duties, respond to calls and emails, and direct enquiries promptly to the right team members.
- Keep Everything Running Smoothly – Maintain and replenish clinic forms, support nursing staff with PBS Biologic applications, prepare meeting minutes, and manage administrative tasks like scanning and mail.
- Contribute to a High-Performing Team – Help train new staff, participate in quality improvement activities, and assist with ongoing development of administrative services.
