Based in Herston, Brisbane and working in close collaboration with clinicians and other research institutes, QIMR Berghofer is home to more than 600 scientists, students and non-research staff.About People & Culture : The People & Culture Department is responsible for the Institute's HR Strategy & Development, HR Operations, Payroll, Graduate Student Development and Safety & Wellbeing.
Within People & Culture, the HR Strategy & Development team supports the Institute's workforce through the development of people and culture strategies, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, scientific and professional development initiatives.Role Purpose / Responsibilities : We are seeking a passionate Organisational Development Advisor to help shape the Institute's culture, through its people strategies and initiatives.
You will be responsible for supporting and delivering organisational development and capability building projects and initiatives to promote an inclusive and supportive culture, drive employee engagement, and develop workforce capability.You will work broadly across engagement and culture, learning and development, policy implementation, organisational diagnostics and diversity and inclusion.
The Advisor supports the achievement of the QIMR Berghofer strategy by contributing to the design and delivery of contemporary organisational development initiatives and frameworks across the Institute.About you : You will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development or a related field with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
You will bring your expertise in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of contemporary organisational and capability development programs and initiatives to the role.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and your proactive and collaborative approach to projects will see you succeed in this position.

The salary range for AO5 is between $103,278 to $112,359 p.a.

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for 10 months to cover a period of parental leave.The level of appointment will be commensurate with your skills and experience.
