- About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Teuila team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of administrative functions. This position involves a range of tasks, including record keeping, data entry, communication, and coordination, to contribute to the successful delivery of NDIS services.
- Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate NDIS participant records, ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations
- Manage participant information confidentially and securely
- Coordinate scheduling for appointments, meetings, and events
- Assist with financial processes, including invoicing and tracking payments
- Support Teuila's team in ensuring compliance with NDIS policies and procedures
- Identify and implement improvements in administration processes
- Stay updated on NDIS regulations, policies, and training opportunities.
- Selection criteria / Skills & competencies
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration (or relevant field)
- Practical experience in administrative roles, especially in healthcare or disability services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and NDIS procedures
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional and confident demeanor
- Positive approach to change and challenges
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Required Certifications
- Level 1 First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- Working with Children check
- NDIS Orientation Certificate
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
- Schedule
- 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
- Experience
- Minimum 1-year extensive experience in an administration role.
