Immediate start

Full-time role / some flexibility with hours
Parking provided

We require a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive skin cancer clinic located in Hamilton Hill. Our practice operates from 9am to 6pm therefore flexible working conditions are possible.

Desirable Criteria

Medical reception experience is desirable

Self-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work cohesively in a small team environment essential

Best Practice software experience including billings, bookings, referrals & appointments

Good medical typing skills

Ability to multitask

Ability to adjust and adapt to practice requirements

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

Provides excellent customer service to patients, other providers and allied health staff as well as excellent communication skills within the office team environment

Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds

Essential Criteria

Ability to work in Australia

Proof of Covid-19 vaccination

Duties

Meeting / greeting of patients

Answering phones and making appointments

Coordinating and managing clinic sessions including specimen courier collection

Liaising with pathology providers to schedule scans and follow up results prior to clinic

Accounts - billing / receipting money, banking and the use of EFTPOS

Scanning / entering clinical data and spreadsheet management

Typing clinical notes during consultations

Management of computerised diary

Preparing and assisting with minor procedures where necessary

Maintenance of the waiting room

Stocktaking
