Brand & Design Manager

A State Government department is looking for a Brand & Design Manager (VPS5.1) to lead rebrand initiatives, deliver hands-on design work, and set visual identity standards. You will manage a small group within a design team, and act as a technical SME in visual communication. The role will require conceptual design thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver creative solutions in a fast-paced environment. This fixed-term VPS opportunity runs until November 2026, with a hybrid model.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver hands-on design work across branding, rebrand and conceptual projects.
• Act as a technical SME for visual communication, accessibility and design identity.
• Produce high-quality design outputs using Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Contribute to conceptual design and future-focused brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to problem-solve and deliver under pressure.
