Business Overview

ISPT’s Property function is the central manager of the organisation’s asset performance and operations across a diversified portfolio of office, retail, industrial, healthcare, life sciences, and community infrastructure. The team manages property performance, tenant partner relations, leasing outcomes, and capital investment to drive long‑term value. Sustainable practices and tenant‑partner relationships are core to the function.

The Opportunity

As a Regional Leasing Manager you will lead a team of retail leasing executives, focusing on creating and preserving asset value by optimising leasing outcomes. You will guide state‑based Leasing Executives to enhance and deliver the retail offering across our portfolio, ensuring outstanding and sustainable returns for the organisation.

• Work with Asset Managers on retail assets to analyse market trends and ensure the optimal tenant mix to maximise returns.
• Lead your leasing team through strategic retail planning and the repositioning of our retail portfolio.
• Build relationships with retailers to attract premium covenants that maximise leasing returns.
• Negotiate commercial terms and leases directly with tenants on assets.
• Provide strategic market advice on market rents, existing property, acquisition and master planning for development.
• Collaborate with the broader national leasing team, sharing insights and best practices to support consistent leasing strategies across all regions.
• Coordinate with the National Leasing Manager – Retail to align regional activities with national priorities.

This role reports to the National Leasing Manager – Retail.

About You

You are a true collaborator who understands the importance of partnership. You hold tertiary qualifications in real estate or property and have experience working in the property industry or a related field. Success in this role requires strong communication and written presentation skills, proven ability to influence, and mastery of data analysis and reporting to translate complex information into actionable strategic recommendations.

You understand the Australian retail market and the end‑to‑end leasing process, including lease administration, tenancy fit‑out, design, building services and master planning. You are an effective negotiator and can integrate quickly into a flexible, team‑oriented environment.
