Overview
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Team Leader role in Adelaide. Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners while ensuring services are person-centred, evidence-based, and aligned with NDIS Practice Standards. Foster a positive team culture, drive quality improvements, and ensure participants receive high-quality behaviour support that enhances independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and supervision to Behaviour Support Practitioners.
- Oversee and guide the development, implementation, and review of Behaviour Support Plans.
- Maintain and embed quality frameworks, policies, and compliance with NDIS regulations.
- Support the team to deliver functional assessments and tailored interventions for participants with complex needs.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities and build clinical capability across the team.
- Engage with participants, families, carers, and support networks to ensure collaborative and culturally safe practice.
- Contribute to service design, quality improvement initiatives, and participant outcomes reporting.
- Carry a small complex caseload to maintain hands-on clinical expertise.
About You
Degree-qualified in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related discipline.Current registration or membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, SPA).Demonstrated experience in Positive Behaviour Support and the development of Behaviour Support Plans.Proven leadership or supervisory experience within allied health, disability, or community services.In-depth knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.Commitment to values-driven, person-centred, and strengths-based practice.What’s on Offer
