One application. Multiple specialties. Real growth opportunities.

With one application, you’ll be considered for all current Registered Nurse opportunities across Wyong Hospital across acute services with both temporary and permanent positions available.

We offer full-time, part-time, permanent and temporary contracts (including short-term contracts from 6 months and maternity relief). Most inpatient units operate on a 24 / 7 rotating roster with 8- or 10-hour shift patterns.

Acute Aged Care

Join a dynamic and supportive team delivering high-quality care to older adults with complex medical needs. Ideal for nurses passionate about person-centred care and building long-term patient connections.

Cardiac Ward

Work alongside experienced clinicians in a progressive cardiac environment providing care for acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and cardiac monitoring. Excellent opportunity to expand cardiac nursing skills, ECG interpretation, and gain accreditation in Advanced Life Support.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Join a skilled and compassionate critical care team providing advanced life support to patients with multi-system illness or injury. Supported learning pathways available for both Registered Nurses with Intensive Care experience, and for those nurses aspiring to develop skills in a specialised critical care area.

Medical Gastroenterology Ward

Join our friendly, professional team on Ward 3C, specialising in acute and chronic gastrointestinal care, including liver disorders and inflammatory bowel disease. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop skills in medical gastroenterology and general medicine. We’re passionate about teamwork, learning, and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, with strong support for education and professional growth.

Neurology Ward

Provide person-centred care to patients experiencing acute neurological events such as stroke, seizures, and complex neurological disorders. Ideal for nurses seeking to grow in neurological assessment and rehabilitation.

Respiratory Ward

Support patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions, including complex oxygen therapy. Great for nurses wanting to advance respiratory assessment and airway management skills.

Surgical Ward

Be part of a fast-paced unit managing a diverse surgical caseload including general, colorectal, orthopaedic, vascular and urology patients. Perfect for nurses who enjoy teamwork, critical thinking, and developing post-operative care expertise. Come be part of a team where excellence is celebrated, learning is encouraged, and every day brings something new. We look forward to welcoming you to 3D!

How to Apply

  • Submit one application and tell us your unit preferences (surgical, medical, aged care, or specialty).
  • We'll review your application within 2 business days.
  • Strong matches will be invited to a convenient Modern Hire interview.
  • If successful, you’ll be connected directly with Nurse Unit Managers for clinical assessment.
  • If there’s no immediate vacancy, you may be placed into an eligibility list (E-List) giving you priority consideration as roles open.
  • Current AHPRA registration, valid work rights in Australia with at least 2 years clinical experience in Australia.
  • You bring recent clinical nursing experience. Even if it’s outside your preferred specialty, your core skills matter and we’ll help you transition and grow in your chosen area.
  • Strong communication, sound clinical judgement, and critical thinking are your strengths. You thrive in multidisciplinary teams and value nurse‑to‑nurse learning and peer development.
  • Able to work in teams across shifts and adaptable to a 24 / 7 model including nights and weekends.
  • You value ongoing learning and development, and you’re open to gaining experience across different areas of acute care.
  • A commitment to patient‑centred care, standard setting and collaboration.

Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
