The School

Byford Secondary College (SC) is a newer school in Perth’s southern suburbs. We have first‑class facilities to support high‑quality teaching and learning programmes. Located approximately 30 kilometres from the Perth CBD, our college caters for 1 500 students in Years 7‑12. Our setting blends urban and rural students, creating a vibrant mix of staff and learners.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated science teacher who is passionate about inspiring learners and delivering engaging curriculum across the secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver science lessons aligned with the WA curriculum, including Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Human Biology and / or Psychology.
• Plan and assess learning outcomes for high‑ and low‑achieving students, employing innovative strategies to support differentiated learning.
• Reflect on practice, contribute to professional learning communities, and use evidence‑based decision making to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues in cross‑curricular projects and school initiatives.
