You have a natural coaching and mentoring attitude, eager to support and guide Apprentices, Trades Assistants, and Work Experience participants. You possess a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology (Australian Recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanics).

The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our Repairs & Service Team. You will be responsible for maintenance, repairs and servicing of road transport equipment including pre-delivery and accessories fitment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and repair orders instructions, to meet specified quality, safety and general performance criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Ability to repair, service, replace diesel engines, brakes, electrical and fuel systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
