Overview
Kells is seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer with 2–4 years post-admission experience to join our dynamic and collaborative legal team in Wollongong. This is a rare opportunity to work across a diverse mix of commercial property and development, state government and local government matters, with an option of litigation to keep things interesting.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial leases, acquisitions, disposals, and property development matters
- Advising local councils, state government departments and public bodies on land use, planning, and infrastructure agreements
- Supporting litigation matters related to property disputes, compulsory acquisition, and enforcement and general commercial disputes
- Working closely with a team of experienced senior lawyers and engaging directly with clients from across NSW, Australia and overseas
About You
A qualified lawyer with 2–4 years PAEIdeally with experience in commercial property law, with exposure to local government or planning & environment work being highly desirableComfortable handling some property-related litigationA clear communicator with strong drafting skills and a client-focused mindsetAble to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environmentWhat We Offer
