We’re hiring a contractor for a 3-month Assistant Accountant role, paying up to $400 / day including super. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative financial control team in a large, fast-paced organisation and expand your finance experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reconcile bank receipts and payments, investigate discrepancies
• Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, tax, and other entries
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with monthly regulatory returns including BAS and payroll tax
