What you’ll be doing
Provide trauma‑informed, person‑centred care across acute and primary care settings. Work closely with Aboriginal Health Workers, Counsellors, Social Workers, and an Aboriginal Program Coordinator to deliver culturally safe care that recognises the importance of culture, community, and country in healing.
This position is based in Cabramatta and involves travel across the South West Sydney region, working on the lands of the Dharawal, Darug, and Gundungurra peoples. As part of the Aboriginal Drug Health Team, you will be supported by an Aboriginal Program Coordinator and have access to a wide range of cultural supports, including :

Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Drug Health Services operates across the South Western Sydney Local Health District, providing a comprehensive range of treatments and interventions for individuals, families, and carers affected by alcohol and other drug use.
The services include inpatient withdrawal at the ‘Corella’ unit in Fairfield, the Opioid Treatment Program, outpatient clinics, and specialised teams such as the Aboriginal Drug & Alcohol Team and the Youth Service. Recognised for their excellence, SWSLHD Drug Health Services has been a finalist in the NSW Health Excellence in Allied Health Awards, highlighting their commitment to high‑quality care and innovation.
