Senior HR Advisor (Level 5) – Government | ER / IR Focus | Perth CBD | 6-Month Contract
Are you a skilled Senior HR Advisor with strong employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) experience? We're currently seeking a dynamic and adaptable HR professional to join a WA State Government department for a 6-month contract based in Perth CBD .
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering with the business to deliver high-quality HR advice and support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide high-level HR advisory services to managers and employees in line with public sector policies and frameworks.
- Manage and support ER / IR matters , including grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes, and enterprise agreement interpretation.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver proactive and solutions-focused HR advice.
- Support and contribute to workforce planning, change management, and performance management processes.
- Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver consistent and compliant HR support across the department.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR Advisor role within the WA State Government or broader public sector.Strong working knowledge of industrial awards , enterprise agreements , and public sector employment legislation .Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.Highly adaptable and flexible, with a team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related disciplines are highly desirable.What’s on Offer :
