Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Undergraduate Student Midwife to join our growing team on a part time fixed term basis.

The role of the Registered Undergraduate Student Midwife is :

• Assist Registered Nurses with delegated aspects of patient care, ensuring dignity, safety and comfort are maintained.
• Support patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Contribute to a well-functioning multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
• Work within the scope of your role, maintaining accountability and adherence to LRH policies and procedures.
• Escalate any concerns promptly to the supervising Registered Nurse.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress and remain an active nursing student through your employment.

Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
