Event Manager – Marketing Operations and Events

The Events Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination and execution of events that support brand awareness, stakeholder engagement and business objectives. This role oversees the end-to-end delivery of internal and external events, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality and impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual events strategy aligned with organisational goals and marketing planning.
• Plan, manage and execute a diverse range of events including conferences, webinars, product launches, sponsorship activations, internal events and stakeholder functions.
• Manage event budget planning and ensure adherence to budget.
• Establish and manage event sponsorship and agency relationships.
• Manage event logistics including venue sourcing, catering, AV, signage, registration and on-site coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing, communications, product, P&C) to align event objectives and messaging.
• Oversee event promotion and communications, including invitations, social media, email campaigns and post‑event follow‑up.
• Evaluate event success through feedback, reporting and performance metrics, and apply learnings to future events.
