Desktop Home Assessor

The role

Reporting to the Home Assessing Team Leader, the Desktop Assessor is responsible for the end-to-end management of allocated claims. You will establish the cause of damage as well as determining the scope and cost of repair to insured properties, whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

• Conduct desktop assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing and / or causation reports provided by our panel suppliers.
• Produce detailed reports, determine cause, coverage, damage and best repair methods.
• Review scope of works and expert reports to ensure the most cost effective and timely method of repairs.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including; local authorities and third-party building surveyors.
• Negotiate and define the scope of work and associated costing with key stakeholders.
• End to end claim management, managing a range of cost, quality and service controls in conjunction with the Claims Operations Team.
• To achieve consistent adherence to key performance measures (KPI).
• Submitting reports, reviewing SOW’s and documentation in a timely manner (as per set SLA’s).
• This position is based full-time at our North Lakesoffice.
