Team & OpportunityThe Fund Reporting Team is responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting of Vanguard Super. This includes, but not restricted to, annual reports, APRA reporting forms and the ABS reports, as well as monitoring the overarching Fund to ensure member assets are allocated correctly. The team is also responsible for accounting and APRA reporting policies that ensures adherence to regulatory and accounting standard requirements.

Fund Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst, SpecialistIn this key role, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring adherence to all internal and regulatory reporting requirements impacting the Vanguard Super. A primary focus will be the continual development of the regulatory reporting framework for a growing Fund, including collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement Phase 2 APRA SDT and sustainability reporting for all entities as well as improving automation of regulatory reporting for both Vanguard Super and Vanguard Australia.What you will doReviews superannuation financial reports for completeness and accuracy prior to lodging with management and regulatory agencies.Provides oversight of the production of APRA reporting forms by the form / data owners to ensure on-time submission and ongoing delivery of quarterly, annual and ad-hoc APRA returnsManages and communicates with appropriate data owners including the Fund's Administrator, Custodian, and internal business units.Proactively identifies and assists with implementation of process improvements across finance and operating areas relating to reporting.Serves as first point of contact and technical expert for the department by responding to Super inquiries.Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of current Fund events and regulatory changes that may impact teams responsibilities.Document and provide guidance on implementation of various superannuation accounting and reporting policies within the team.Build expertise and identifies best practices that promote operational excellence and advocates positive change.Drives business results through statistical analysis of business process, crew, and clients.
