THE ROLEWe seek a Production Planner Minimum of 1-2 years experience ideally with exposure to Technology, Electronics Engineering and a desire to be part of something that will go from a local business to the global stage and be well rewarded for your contributions.
KEY DUTIESEngage with the leadership team to design and develop production objectives and understand business, technology and electronic engineering objectivesResponsible for Budgeting & Cost ManagementPlan, Develop and Implement production workflows to meet technical specifications and delivery deadlinesAnalyse and monitor production to resolution and problem managementLead and evaluate production performance and individual team members to ensure quality control and deliverablesResource and Workforce Management, PurchasingResponsible for all safe work practices and quality standardsDaily & weekly reporting as required by the business and leadershipESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEMin 1-2 years of professional experience in technical production management / planning / scheduling ideally in the Electronics, Technology, Engineering work-shop environment and domainSolid knowledge of production management and related processesStrong knowledge of Quality Control and Work Health & SafetyBudget analysis and costingsProduction analysis and reportingExcellent written and oral communication skillsHighly analyticalTarget & Results driven but while maintaining quality and purposeExcellent organizational and leadership skillsIndustry and role-related qualificationsExperience with MS Project or similar softwareDESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCEKnowledge or passion for Marine Electronics and associated technologiesExperience and exposure to local, national or international Shipping, Marine is highly desirable
