HOPE has been a community service in Western Australia for over a century, providing much needed support to people affected by alcohol and other drugs, mental health, youth justice issues, family and domestic violence and socioeconomic disadvantage.
Hope Community Services, in partnership with Yorgum Healing Services, have been awarded a contract to establish and operate the Armadale Family and Domestic Violence Hub, along with :
The new hub will provide victim-survivors with access to services and supports in a single, accessible location, as well as providing off-site services for perpetrators and young people. The service model will see the creation of a blended, collaborative team, while delivering a trauma informed, culturally competent approach : while the various hub team members will be employed by one of the nine service partners, they will work within the FDV Hub team culture under the leadership of the FDV Manager, to provide support to women and children who are experiencing family violence.
The hub will be your opportunity to develop a service that is innovative, with people at the centre of it. As the FDV Manager, you will lead a culturally safe and integrated multi-disciplined service to provide support to people who are experiencing family violence, all whilst developing and maintaining effective collaborative working relationships with other staff, agencies and service providers, networks, and other stakeholders
The key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising the delivery of the Service; overseeing the daily operations and coordination of activities and ensure services are compliant and working in the boundaries of the Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment Risk Management Framework.
We are looking for a manager who is driven and committed to achieving positive outcomes for clients and the community. To be successful in this role you will have Social Service degree or diploma or significant relevant experience in leading and managing teams, be experienced with stakeholder management, be able to demonstrate experience working with the Western Australian Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment and have knowledge and experience working with survivors and perpetrators of Family and Domestic Violence,
